Have you been to visit the new Warwick Place Play Park!

Heart of Priors Park Community Interest Company and Tewkesbury Town Council have worked together since June 2016, to get our local play park improved. The last time this play park was updated was in the early 1990's,

Heart of Priors Park contacted three play designers who all gave three quotes and designs. After care concideration, public consultation, an assembly at Queen Margaret School, talking to the elderly and lots of meetings, it was decided to go with the Wicksteed plan above.

Tewkesbury Town Council Assistant to the Clerk Jen King, then started to apply for grants and worked along side the Environment and Amenaties Committee to ensure the community got the brand new play park.

In May 2019, the first two items were installed in the park. These were two climbing frames, which the children enjoyed.

In November 2019, the final part of the improvement was started and finished in December 2019.

The new play park is now conpelete and used come rain or shine by local children. The park hasn't been used this month or many years.

Heart of Priors Park Community Interest Company would like to thank: Jen King - Assistant to the Clerk, Cllr Simon Raywood, Environmental & Amenaties Committee, Barnwood Trust, Jeanette Vizard - Bromford Housing Grants Officer, Pocket for Parks and everyone who has made this happen.
